Three words: it’s up to you
What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser when you visit it. They allow the site to remember information about your visit, such as your preferred language or the city you’ve selected, so that your next visit is quicker and more convenient.

Analytical cookies send data to the US under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and Standard Contractual Clauses (Article 46 of the GDPR) and are only activated if you accept the relevant category in the banner (Section 25(1) of the TTDSG).
We also store an anonymous identifier per browser (tropixus_anon_id, stored in localStorage) which allows us to link your consent when you log in without losing the choice you made as an anonymous visitor. This identifier is not shared with third parties.
Suppliers and legal basis
When you accept the Analytics category, two US-based providers receive data about your browsing activity. Below, we explain what each one does, the legal basis for this, and how to withdraw your consent.
- Google Analytics 4, tag
G-EK55B5TNW2. Data controller: Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. We enableanonymize_ipbefore the first hit, so your IP address is truncated before leaving the EU. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR + § 25(1) TTDSG (consent). Global opt-out: tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout. - Microsoft Clarity, heatmaps + session recordings with all inputs masked by default (
clarity("set", "mask", "all-inputs")). Controller: Microsoft Ireland Operations Ltd., One Microsoft Place, Dublin 18, Ireland. Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR + § 25 (1) TTDSG.
Until you accept the analytics category, no Google or Microsoft scripts are loaded into your browser, not even the loader. This can be verified by opening your browser’s DevTools: the Network tab shows no requests to googletagmanager.com or clarity.ms before your first click on “Accept All” or “Accept Analytics”.
Regarding the "Marketing" category: it appears in the banner but does not currently load any cookies; we do not use advertising or retargeting pixels. We are keeping this category reserved for possible future campaigns; should we activate them, we will update this page and they will only be loaded with your consent.
